Founded in 2021 by Mark L. Griffin and his wife, Janis L. Harrison, and with the generous support of the Cherry Hills Village community, the Cherry Hills Village Police Foundation has significantly enhanced the ability of the Cherry Hills Village Police Department to keep our community among the safest in the nation.

Meet Cherry Hills Village Police Officer Michael Anderson
I currently serve the community of Cherry Hills Village as a police officer in the patrol division. This is the only police department I have worked for and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

ha e been in law enforcement for 15 years. Prior to becoming aDetective, I worked for two other agencies, where I was assigned to Traffic Investigations. I am a certified instructor in EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations), SFST (StandardizedField Sobriety Testing)Instructor, Radar/Laser Instructor, and a Drug Recognition Expert by the State of Colorado.

Overall, in 2024 we’ve seen significant reductions in several key crime categories which is a testament to the hard work of our officers and the support of our community.
