The introduction of our first K-9 officer

Cherry Hills Police K-9 Unit Tuco

We are thrilled to announce our latest initiative: the introduction of our first K-9 officer, Tuco, made possible by a generous donation of $22,000 to the Cherry Hills Police Department. This significant contribution reflects the unwavering support of our community members, who understand the importance of investing in public safety.

Tuco, a 14-month-old male Belgian Malinois, will be paired with Officer Ives, a seasoned law enforcement veteran. Together, they will undergo rigorous training to prepare for their vital roles in narcotic detection and suspect apprehension. Tuco’s presence will not only enhance the capabilities of our police department but will also serve as a deterrent to crime, fostering a safer environment for all Cherry Hills Village residents.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters whose contributions have made this initiative a reality. Your generosity directly impacts our mission to keep our community safe, and we are committed to maintaining transparency regarding how funds are utilized for such important projects.

As we embark on this exciting journey with Tuco and Officer Ives, we invite you to join us in our mission. Your continued support is crucial as we look to implement more initiatives that promote
safety and collaboration within Cherry Hills Village. Together, we can build a stronger, safer community for everyone. Thank you for being an integral part of this endeavor!
