Our Advisory Board brings together engaged community members who care about public safety and want to support the Foundation’s mission in thoughtful, meaningful ways.

What the Advisory Board Is
A group of community advocates and advisors who help strengthen the Foundation through ideas, connections, and support.
Advisory Board members may:
- Share insight, feedback, and perspective as a sounding board
- Help make introductions and build relationships
- Support initiatives or events in ways that fit their schedule
- Serve as ambassadors for the Foundation in the community
Time commitment: flexible and reasonable.
What the Advisory Board Is Not
To keep expectations clear, the Advisory Board is not:
- A governing body (no voting on budgets, policies, or official decisions)
- A fiduciary role (no legal or financial oversight responsibilities)
- A heavy weekly volunteer commitment
- A staff or operations management position
The Board of Directors provides governance and fiduciary oversight. The Advisory Board supports through guidance, advocacy, and engagement.
